Dearest Gregg,

A lot has happened since you've been gone.
Knowing you would feel totally left out by all of the excitement we had this weekend, I kept a detailed list for you!
The weekend kicked off with a bang Friday night, as Kade burned his curious little hands.
Nothing too serious.
They were minor 2nd degree, on his left hand fingers and right hand palm.
I've been trying to keep them covered, although he bites the bandages off when he gets frustrated. Which is almost directly after I put them on.
He is a determined little sucker
The next morning, He woke up fine.
He hasn't cried since and all of the blisters are still intact.
It WAS fine, until he took a red marker and drew all over his bandages! Needless to say, I got a little freaked out for a second.
Then the rest of the morning went a little like this:
Mason, took said red marker, and drew all over his closet door.
When talking with him about it, I also noticed a snip of hair missing from his head (later I found it by the couch on the floor). Apparently he played barber shop this morning before I woke up.
Whatever
On to the laundry.
Good news - all 6 loads are clean!!
Bad news - all 6 loads are sitting on our couch...
There was a little humor on Saturday morning.
While Mason and I were doing laundry, I glanced over at Kade. He was by the window (which had a stream of sunshine coming through) swatting at all of the fuzzies flying about. Seriously cute to watch him for about 5 minutes just swatting at the air!
I stuck Mason in charge of sorting the socks. After hanging up my laundry (yes, you can cheer. I actually hung up my clothes this time) I came back to find this:
Mason had made Kade the Sock Man
See Sheriff Woody? Kade ran around with his hat on his head nearly all day. Every time it fell off - he got mad and tried to force it back on to his head.
Like I said, your son is Determined.
Mason asked me again this morning about ordering The Butterfly Kit.
We have to order it NOW (within the next 15 minutes) so that we can get, not 5, but 10 butterflies.
You see, They double your order, if you are prompt in ordering...

Then a miracle happened:
Both kids conked out
It was amazing.
I did manage to finish the laundry.
Your welcome :)
-well, your pile still awaits your return....
By the time nap was over, I had pretty much given up on any plans or structure for the day and let chaos and destruction take over.

Then the dancing commenced:
Ignore the song.
It's not the kids favorite, but I secretly like to belt out a tune here and there, when you're not around of course.
Oh yeah, the tie die shirt Mason has on?? He wore it ALL weekend..
When all hope was lost, your sweet parents rescued me and served us dinner and a movie.
Tyler had some fun with the first aid kit:
We watched The Tourist with your fav - Angelina.
Kinda cute. It had a love story. I missed you.
I hope you are learning a lot in Seattle; figuring out the what-is-what in Pharmacy.
It's now Sunday and I'm counting down the hours until you are back.
It's hard to sleep without you next to me
(I will say, I have slept soundly though; the dog doesn't snore)
I'm not going to lie, Prettie has taken up residency on your pillow while you have been gone.
Please come back to me.
Two hours in counting?

Random-I just noticed on your blog that you follow my cousins blog "i believe in unicorns". Love small worlds!
