Mason is officially 5 now!
He really wanted to bring treats to his class for his birthday, so that morning we went to HEB. He picked out some sort of a chocolate cookie, juice pouches and grey napkins.
That's all he wanted.
Mason and his Teacher after the class sang Happy Birthday
That evening the kids and I went over to Pop pop and Granma's house for dinner and cake.
Make a wish!
That's all for the festivities of his actually day, however, as Mason likes to remind everyone - he actually had 3 birthdays! Since Gregg couldn't be with us on his birthday, we saved Chuck E Cheese's for the weekend when he could come.
I've never liked Chuck E.
Something about the whole thing always creped me out. Don't get me wrong, I remember enjoying a ride or two and somehow loving the big play place they used to have. It was just the stage with all of the characters jumping about that I could have done without.
anyway -
Here we are. Mason's one request for his birthday!

This is Mason's Video game face.
It's the same one no matter the game. All concentration, no emotion.
Mason and Tyler entertaining with a dance off

He played a ton of games and when it came time to cash in, the rest of the party chiped in. Gregg's parents, Tyler and us all gave him our tickets. I think there were two Jackpots won in that bundle!

He cashed out and picked his prizes.
He had fun. I had a night without cooking.
We all won!
