What started out as a one year old photo shoot, quickly turned into a
Mom and her favorite boys shoot...

I couldn't be any happier with the results either!

I was a little nervous because it was 2 O'clock and both boys were tired.
Kade wanted nothing to do with Mason touching him
and Mason wanted nothing to do with taking pictures at all.

But Lauren Zalit, our photographer, is AMAZING!

Not only did she get this sweet stubborn kid to smile

She managed to capture the best of each one of us.
I know you can't tell - BUT -
Mason definitely had shed his shoes by this point because of an ant pile
he had been stomping on earlier
and Kade was NOT happy with the fact that I made him
hold hands AND stand next to his brother...

She's awesome.

I love that he wouldn't button his sleeves or tie his shoes either.
He's my kind of kid.

This not-so-little one is starting to talk gibberish.
He says a few words like - No, dog (Og), this, Hi, Go
But most of the time
I just hear the sounds he makes like - car, plane, ambulance, and dinosaur sounds

I love my Sweet boys!
This is what we look like in our daily travels.
Kade in tow and Mason collecting any thing that resembles a leaf or a stick
- minus the coordinating outfits of course!

He is only four and by this picture he is already half my size.
To me he is devilishly Handsome
and I await the day I will be on the front porch
cleaning my guns as his girlfriends come up the walk to meet us!
Oh yes, if dads can do it, so can I...

Back to the original point of the photo shoot -
I can't believe Kade is now one!
He is growing fast and
his personality is emerging more and more everyday.

And yes, I fear he has picked up the family stubbornness gene already...
(He can thank his Gigi for that one :P)
Love you Grandma!

Thank you Lauren for sticking with us and taking these wonderful photos.
You are awesome!
