We FINALLY got family pictures taken!!!
I have been wanting to have pictures taken forever!
I wanted to take them when I was pregnant and then when Kade was born, and even before kade was in the picture... .jpg)
I am so happy with how they turned out.
My favorite feature of the boys are Masons eyes and Kade's smile and I think these photos captured both perfectly!
This is my Favorite one. I could stare at it all day!.jpg)
"Kade, look over there, silly!"
There is something special about a brothers bond and I hope that these two can keep it as they grow! They love each other so much, and Mason adores his little brother. I want them to stay close.

I LoVe My Kisses!.jpg)
He is growing so fast. I really can't believe he is already 8 months old!
Just this week he has started the crawling phase. Its so cute to watch him get on all fours and propel himself forward in hopes of traveling somewhere. I have learned my lesson with mason though, so whenever I see Kade trying to crawl, it takes all I have to NOT push him down and say No!

This summer we have been going to the beach about every two weeks. We LOVE the beach!!
Mason asks all the time if we can go and when we finally do its so hard to get him out of the water and in the truck to leave.. He has been doing amazing with his swimming as well this summer. He swims, twists and turns, and explores under the water well. He willl 'swim' in the deep as long as he has his noodle, and in parts where he knows he can touch he has started to swim. It's cute watching his confidence grow each time he does something.
Those eyes just melt my heart.
The lady that took these photos did a really good job. Here name is Christa, and you can check here out here.

Mason is ready for school. He misses all of his friends and daily activities.I can't believe he is going to pre-k this year and then next to kindergarten.. It was just yesterday that he was 8 months old learning to crawl.
Now he is all over the place!!
In daddy's arms!
Gregg has been home this summer with us and its been great! The boys have been having a blast playing everyday and getting time with Daddy. It's going to be rough when he has to go back to school in the Fall (I have REALLY gotten used to the extra help)!
~There is that smile I was talking about~

This week he has also begun the 'I want mom' phase. It's amazing to me how I can set him down or even give him to Gregg and have him throw his head back in a fit, only for me to return to his arms stretched out and legs kicking in excitement for me.

I must say that although I smile EVERY time he wants me, I'm a little nervous about all of his new found skills seeing as we are about to go on a trip. I would have much preferred a stable, quite content, happy little boy for our endeavour... We'll see how it goes!
