long overdue update

I am so terrible at this whole blog thing. I haven't posted very much and when I did post something exciting I didn't follow up.

Now, I am not going to say that I promise to do better, because I know I won't. That's just me. But maybe since I have stated this observation I can stop feeling guilty for not posting more. We'll see.

I went to the doctor for the first time yesterday and I really like him. He was very good and I feel comfortable with the staff and he's young, I don't have to add handsome even though he is... (it's just a little plus ;) ) BUT the not so good news is that he is here in college station. The Med even. That's completely not convenient b/c we need someone in Houston and I know St. Joe'sinside and out here in town. However, he did say that he has patients that drive back into town and are induced about a week early to avoid any crazy adventures down the highway. I don't know. an hour and a half is not that bad. but if something went wrong? well, you see my predicament.

*If anyone know's of a doctor in the downtown medical center area, let me know.*

*on that note, If anyone knows anything about that area let me know.*

So going back to the doctor part... Gregg and I SAW the heart beat on a 3D ultra sound! how exciting is that!! the baby was well defined for 8.4 weeks with arms, legs and a huge belly. We got to see her* wiggle and move a bit. (you notice I am saying her. it's just b/c I figure why not? we all want a little sweet heart, so maybe??)

Mason is doing great. He is done with preschool in about two weeks and is looking forward to swimming lessons and fishing this summer. He is so grown. He talks like us, walks aroung strutting his stuff like us (well maybe Gregg, b/c i guess it's a boy thing) has attitude, the whole nine yards. He is really into fighting right now. it's great! I have to watch out b/c at any moment I can be karate kicked in the nose if I'm not careful. Also every scratch, bruise or ouch, is from monsters. he always says, "I got beat up by the monsters." "But I punched them back in the nose!"
Like I said, It's great. He is such a darling :)

Gregg is doing OK. once he gets done with school I think he will be better. He has senior-itis all over again. When we were in high school, I remember we both had decided we were done WELL before Christmas. I think the wait for pharmacy school is going to get to him a little bit. but, I am very excited to spend this summer with him NOT in school and just enjoying time with the family. He is going to have time to take mason to swimming lessons and stuff like that so it should be great :) We have a few summer things going on already so we will see how it goes. I think we are all looking forward for it.

I am finally not bent over the potty all the time any more!! YAY!! I think that the "morning" sickness (more like 'whenever something important needs my attention' sickness) has finally died down. so now bring on the big belly! I went to the only maternity store in town on Monday and got a few tank tops to kick off the celebration. I also got a really cute purse and called it "the diaper bag" to Gregg... ( i was strictly on a pregnancy only shopping thing) He told me nice try. It really was worth it.

well, that's everyone other than the dog, and she has no clue whats about to rock her world AGAIN. I think to keep her out of depression levels I will try and keep her out of the loop for a while ;) -who knows though we might get a calm sweet loving NON-ninja fighting little princess?? Well see in about 8 weeks says the doctor!
