Yesterday was a lot of fun! We went to a christmas tree farm and got to cut down a tree :) It was so cute watching Mason and Gregg pull the wagon and hold the saw as we walked up and down the many aisles of trees to choose our special one. Mason kept running from tree to tree trying to mesure them with the pole we were given. he would say "one, two, three - this a baby tree mama! one two three four five- this a BIG tree mama!" I wish i had some pictures to share but I don't because our camera is missing :( When we find it I will take a picture of the decorated tree. You can definitly tell where mason hung the ornaments because they are in groupings of 3 and 4 at the bottom of the tree...
I also got out the christmas decorations for the house and in the box was mason's child nativity set. I was so surprised when mason started to play with it because I wasn't sure if he would remember the story or not. Sure enough I heard him saying baby Jesus goes right there... Mary goes right there... Joseph there, Angels right there... He must have played with the scene for an hour and a half before getting frustrated that the camel wouldn't stand up perfectly on our carpet. At one point he even had all of the people and animals in a line walking to find baby Jesus..It's just amazing to sit back and listen to how much my son actually knows!
