HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY!!
Mine went well - I took the longest nap I have had in a while! Gregg and Mason gave me my very own fishing pole complete with the color pink (to support breast cancer while we fish) and the words 'Lady Fish' inscribed! The pole also came with a tent and a promise of a fire roasted dinner and desert of peach cobbler (all while I relax under the stars) I am actually very excited about the gift because I love to camp and haven't had the chance to do so yet with Gregg or Mason. I think we will go in two weeks.
Just a quick update - I was hired to be waitress at Cheddars this past Wednesday. It has been a while since I have waited tables but I am fairly confident that I will pick it up again fast. That is one area I do have experience in - the restaurant area. I do have to get another food handlers card from the health department because I went to check when my current card expired and realized it's up in a week. bummer -those things last for four years too - it has been a while!
Just a little info on the restaurant - apparently it is the numero uno in the entire chain? It is said that even though there are stores in Chicago and Florida etc... that college station, TX has the best business?? That's just what is said... also that the store is the busiest on restaurant row (University Dr.) With all that in mind I guess it is safe to say that I will be rolling in the jacksons! (hopefully, right?)
