Mason's 2nd Birthday

I know it's been a few days since mason's birthday party but It's just been one of those busy weeks :)

I think the party was great!

The weather could not have been better - (well now that I say that, It could have been a little cooler, however I am just grateful it wasn't raining or anything like that!) Here is Prettie in her party dress sweating like a pig! (somehow she still looks fabulous) We did take our dog to the party and all the kids loved petting her. We just let her loose to run and lick all the cake up off the floor and steal the kids candy ;) seriously though - she was great with all the kids!

Anyway, While we were waiting for everyone to arrive we had a moon walk (joy jump) that they all enjoyed. also the party was at the A&M church of christ play ground so they all played on the playground for all long time (which mason LOVES). After that the kiddos painted cars that they took home as party favors. Mason wasn't so into this part but all the girls made cars for him and we now have a basket full on our shelves in the living room :( the plan was to send them home with the kiddos so that we wouldn't be stuck with a bunch of those cars ( i even let them color as many as they wanted so I wouldn't be stuck with left overs!) ohwell I guess the girls just can't get enough of my little man!!! ;) Next, we all decorated cookies. The plan for this was to make them into wheels (like from a car) but I forgot to mention that! they still turned out awesome and mason was all into this activity!! We did cake and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY after the cookies. He just kind of sat there like "Why are you all singing to me?? CREEPY!"

I played with the idea of making his cake again this year but by the time it came to actually make it I was already busy with life so I just decided to buy (I KNOW :(, but the cake turned out sooo cute!)

Pretty much after that we just sat in a circle and watched Mason open his presents and play with water baloons! I think that was the best part of the party! Someone (I am positive it was one of my brothers) filled a huge regular balloon up with water so I grabed it and ran after Gregg! that was only after he asked me to go get something from the car and waited until I had my back turned to him to run after me loaded with the mini balloons!! Thanks guys for the opertunity to get him back!

I know this has been a long post, but in short, we all had a lot of fun and most importantly Mason had a blast!
